Unit Concert is ON!
Unit 5 Superintendent, Dr. Mark Daniel, has determined that weather/road conditions will improve significantly during the day and that the Unit Orchestra Concert scheduled for tonight can go on as planned. The concert will start at 7:00 PM in the NCHS gym. Students should arrive by 6:30 PM for tuning. 6th grade students should leave their coats and cases in the small gym and then go to the main gym for tuning and seating. 7th grade students should report to the cafeteria for tuning. 8th grade students will tune in the small gym. 7th and 8th grade students need to bring a folding music stand (marked with their name) for the concert if they own one.
If you feel that the roads in your area are not safe for travel at concert time do not risk your well being in order to attend, but please send me an email so that I am aware of the reason for your child's absence.
I'm looking forward to a great concert in spite of the weather.

Welcome to 2015!
I hope that everyone had a great, relaxing break!!! As we return to school this week, we will once again start to record our practice minutes (with our first practice card of 2015 due next week on 1/12). Please be very careful with your instruments and the cold weather, it is not good for them to be outside in these extreme temperatures. Looking forward to seeing you all soon! ~Mrs. Boyd
